To be a witness means to tell others what God has done for you. Remember, someone was faithful in sharing with you about Jesus Christ and His death on the cross for you.
The Bible stresses the need for declaring publicly our faith in Christ, to let others know He is our Saviour. Christ said, “You will be witnesses for me.”
My friend, if you need courage to witness to others in your life and your sphere of influence, ask God for courage and He will give it to you. The wise thing to do is face your fear of sharing Christ, begin to practice His presence, letting the Holy Spirit control you moment-by-moment until it becomes more natural for you to say a word for Jesus.
