 Have
you ever looked at a picture that had a
hidden picture within it? Do
you know
what it feels like to be the only one who can’t discover
the hidden picture? Do you
also know what it feels like when someone
finally points it out to you and you can’t
believe it took you so
long to see it. Later, whenever you see the picture all you
can see
is the hidden picture, now that you know.
There is something like this in the Christian life. It’s not
anything new, it is a
wonderful and liberating truth that seems to
go unnoticed by many Christians. I
know that you know, “Christ died
for you,” but has it ever dawned on you, “you
died with Christ?”
Galatians 2:20- Paul says, “I have been crucified with
Christ…. When did this
happen? In the mind of God, He saw you
hanging on the cross with Jesus when He
was crucified. Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ,
keep seeking the things above, where Christ is,
seated at the right
hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things
that are on earth. For you
have died and your life is hidden with
Christ in God.
Colossians 3:1-3
